Plot Synopsis
I WANT THAT highlights the latest building materials, the greatest home renovation gadgets and the most useful household products. Each 30-minute episodes uses in-depth profiles to present seven items, including: a floor tile system that simply 'clicks' together; decorative shade panels for the pergola; high tech BBQ grilling; cleaning with the science of ions; turbo charged mowers; smart locks that retro fit any key; self-watering planters; an all-inclusive tool storage system on wheels; power strips that pivot; doorbells that can be custom programmed to say or play any sound; a rug that won't stain; picture perfect garage doors; cool solar address lights; click tile grid for any garage; a countertop paint system that mimics the look of granite; a showerhead that flips four ways; a no-dig fence install; a truck box with an alarm system; peepholes go digital; a tool sharpener for every blade; a protective bubble for cars; mulch that won't disintegrate; garden hoses that rewind at a touch; paint that adds texture to a wall; a portable office desk; instant stainless steel makeover for the fridge; tough tool bags; and a very unusual coffee table. This series returned for its second season on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at 11pm ET, featuring custom imaged tiles, a mini-fridge that doubles as an end table, a gadget that charges dead batteries, a showerhead that turns colors, plus speakers with an unusual shape, pillows to keep you cool and a new tool to buff out a shine almost anywhere. Season 3, which premiered on Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at 11pm ET, featured a warming solution for cold floors, decor panels that add style anywhere, a shed with a retractable roof, and a Bluetooth-enabled showerhead for music.

On Friday, August 22, 2014 from 11pm-Midnight ET/PT, DIY Network aired the Season 5 premiere of I WANT THAT, showing back-to-back new episodes. The season opener features a smart smoke detector, an elegant way to preserve wine, a leash that keeps pets in step and air buds that zip but don't tangle. Then, the night's second episode features custom hand-made oil paintings of fave Instagram photos, a modern styled soothing swivel chair for babies, portable ultrasonic humidifiers, a single sourced power dock that charges five devices at once, artsy decals for the wall, and a desk that moves the way you do.
