Plot Synopsis

Inspired by true events, each one-hour episode of I LOVE YOU...BUT I LIED reveals two stories of personal deception. In every story, lies unravel, confrontations explode, consequences are suffered and amends are attempted. In this new series, all self-contained episodes are brought to life through true-to-life recreations that provide a follow-documentary experience. In the series premiere, in her thirties Hannah thinks she's finally found the perfect guy, except a decision from her past becomes an obstacle that she can't overcome. In the second story, Jordan has a secret that could jeopardize his family's hotel business, and the secret reveals an even bigger deception that could destroy the entire family. Other episodes include true accounts of pregnancy scandals, double-life confessions, questionable paternity and scandalous affairs. Season 2 of I LOVE YOU...BUT I LIED premiered on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at 10pm ET/PT on LMN. The season opener, "Psych; Sick," includes stories of a shocking love triangle that threatens to destroy a family and a woman who crosses dangerous lines in her pursuit of motherhood.

Season 3 of I LOVE YOU...BUT I LIED premiered on Thursday, June 30, 2016 at 10pm ET/PT on Lifetime. In the season opener, "Playboy; Cradle Robber," a rich party boy puts his family's reputation on the line; a scorned woman finds love with a much younger man.
