Plot Synopsis

Using first-person interviews, archival footage and re-enactments, I KILLED MY BFF reveals real-life murder cases in which people killed their friends. Each 60-minute episode features two different murderers, including: Joshua Drucker, a preacher's son with a calling to the ministry, who ambushed and murdered David Andrew Robertson and his girlfriend, Lora Nikolova, in their own home near Marietta, Georgia on April 5, 2004; a college student who kills his fraternity brother after a botched prank; and many more people in relationships gone bad. On three consecutive Monday nights at 10pm ET in the Summer of 2012 (June 25; July 2; July 9), the Biography Channel aired an episode of this program before picking up the show as a full series and then presenting the official series premiere nine months later on Monday, March 25, 2013 at 10pm ET. Less than months later, I KILLED MY BFF switched networks for its Season 2 premiere on Sunday, August 11, 2013 at 10pm ET/PT on Lifetime Movie Network (LMN).

I KILLED MY BFF returned for its third season on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at 10pm ET/PT on LMN. The season opener, "Real Life Heathers," chronicles the story of two long-time best friends from West Virginia, who turn on each other when a third girl transforms their solid duo into an unstable trio.
