Plot Synopsis

With the help of Angie Richey, a therapist experienced in mediation and healing, I FORGIVE YOU provides people the opportunity to forgive someone who has physically or emotionally hurt them or a loved one. The goal of the series is to facilitate healing and to let people overcome hatred, anger and revenge in a safe and positive environment, while showcasing the 'forgiver' and the 'receiver' of the forgiveness before, during and after an act of forgiveness. This program highlights the forgiveness stories of: Lynda Frederick, bullied 25 years ago in junior high and high school, who forgave her tormentors; Jerry Miller, whose son had scammed him of his live savings in a Ponzi scheme and who reluctantly forgives his offspring; Juan Romero, who seeks forgiveness because he believes he's partly responsible for Robert F. Kennedy's assassination by trying to shake the Senator's hand as he navigated the kitchen at The Ambassador Hotel; and Mary Johnson, the founder of the support group From Death to Life: Two Mothers Coming Together for Healing, who forgave her son's killer and now the forgiver and forgiven travel the country to share their story and message of hope.
