Plot Synopsis

Based on Charles Forsman's graphic novel, I AM NOT OKAY WITH THIS is an irreverent origin story that follows teenage girl Syd, who's navigating the trials and tribulations of high school, all while dealing with the complexities of her family, her budding sexuality, and mysterious superpowers just beginning to awaken deep within her. When her best friend (and secret crush) hooks up with a crude jock, Syd seethes with anger ... and her feelings boil over in startling ways. Memories of her dad send Syd to a dark place. And after fighting with her mom, Syd struggles to avoid a meltdown at school. Later, Stan appoints himself Syd's mentor. Netflix released seven episodes of I AM NOT OKAY WITH THIS on Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT.
