Plot Synopsis

This spin-off of BIG MOUTH pulls back the curtain on the daily lives of the creatures -- Hormone Monsters, Depression Kitties, Shame Wizards and many more -- that help humans journey through every aspect of life from puberty to parenthood to the twilight years. It quickly becomes clear that though the protagonists are creatures, they have a lot of humanity themselves. The entire 10-episode first season of HUMAN RESOURCES dropped on Friday, March 18, 2022 on Netflix.

The sophomore season of HUMAN RESOURCES premiered on Friday, June 9, 2023 on Netflix, as the streaming service released all 10 episodes of the new season. From one-night stands to office romances, the creatures working at Human Resources have their hands -- and claws -- full with a new batch of humans. Season 2 guest voices Florence Pugh, Miley Cyrus, Eugene Levy, Sam Richardson, Niecy Nash-Betts, Jason Mantzoukas, and Isabella Rossellini join returning guest voices Hugh Jackman, Pamela Adlon, Rosie Perez, Henry Winkler, Thandiwe Newton, Jemaine Clement, Maria Bamford, Bobby Cannavale, and Cole Escola. In the season opener, "The Jazz Mitzvah," at Montel's coming-of-age ceremony, the young Hormone Monster decides to do things their own way. Lovebug Emmy's new client doesn't believe in love.
