Each half-hour episode features three stories, including: how a coal-power-plant works; how to make a $20 million astronaut suit; and how they grow vanilla; how to design a roller-coaster.

On Thursday, May 7, 2015 at 10pm ET/PT, Science Channel aired the U.S. premiere of a new season of HOW DO THEY DO IT? The season opener features how to build heavy lift planes, how to make supple boots, and how to keep ripe yellow bananas.
