Plot Synopsis

HOOK, LINE & SISTERS follows the lives of the Anderson sisters who face challenges as female fishers in a male-dominated industry, while their family have only three months to brave the Alaskan wilds for their pay day. In the wild, unpredictable and competitive world of commercial fishing, the Andersons face the usual family problems -- a father who works too much, children who want independence, and the looming threat of financial hardship. The Andersons are: patriarch Dean, the captain of the Memry Anne, who squares off against rival fisherman, hungry sharks and his own hardworking family; his wife, Susan, who spends as much time refereeing familial feuds as managing the family's finances; their 26-year-old daughter, Sierra, who has her father's sea-loving spirit and strives to please him; and their 21-year-old fashionista daughter, Memry, who has a more tumultuous relationship with dear dad.
