Plot Synopsis
Two four-person teams -- each team having a contestant and three celebrity players -- compete in a series of party games, with the contestant on the winning team having the chance to go home with $25,000 cash after that night's bonus round. Part Hollywood club and part casual game night, HOLLYWOOD GAME NIGHT is based on the real-life game nights that executive producer Sean Hayes hosts at his own home. This one-hour series features games like: "Take a (Hint)," where one person must guess as many answers correctly in 90 seconds, while the other three team members take turns by saying only one word; "How Do You Doo?," as the team must guess the name of a song while one member tries to sing that song only using one word -- doo; "Lil' Picassos," for which teams must guess the object or person in a picture painted by a child, while being given clues about the painting's focal point; and other games like "Lost in Translation," "TV ID," "Celebrity Fusion" and "Picture Purrfect." Plus, the three-person celebrity teams include: Lisa Kudrow, Martin Short & Alyson Hannigan; Matthew Perry, Kristen Bell & Daniel Dae Kim; Cheryl Hines, Sarah Chalke & Matthew Morrison; Valerie Bertinelli, Yvette Nicole Brown & Rob Riggle; Sean Hayes, Maya Rudolph & Jason Sudeikis; Dax Shepard, Fred Armisen & Amy Poehler; Jason Alexander, Josh Gad & Al Roker; Nick Cannon, Niecy Nash & Will Sasso; Terry Crews, Hoda Kotb & David Giuntoli; Tom Arnold, Jerry Ferrara & Emilie de Ravin; Max Greenfield, Ellie Kemper & Kal Penn; Minnie Driver, Kenan Thompson & Angela Kinsey; Kristin Chenoweth, Aubrey Plaza & Dominic Monaghan; Molly Shannon, Wilmer Valderamma & Felicity Huffman; Anthony Anderson, Stacy Keibler & Rose Byrne; and Tom Arnold, Patricia Heaton & Jamie Lynn Sigler.
