Plot Synopsis

HOLLYWOOD CAKES is a half-hour reality series that features bakeries from the Los Angeles area, as bakers create outrageous cakes. On Monday, April 30, 2018 at 11pm ET/PT, Food Network premiered the series pilot, but the cable channel had no other episodes on its schedule at that time. In the pilot, "Trolls, Extra and Rock 'n' Roll," three of Hollywood's premiere cake artists and bakeries create cakes with star power. The filmmakers behind the Trolls franchise order a hair-raising take on their star character, Poppy. The TV show Extra asks for a birthday cake to be delivered on-air to co-host Renee Bargh, and the most famous rock 'n' roll club in the world, Whisky a Go Go, needs a cake that rocks.
