Plot Synopsis

In each one-hour episode, three teams of talented gingerbread artists face off in this spin-off of HOLIDAY BAKING CHAMPIONSHIP. In the first season, host Jesse Palmer brings audiences inside this festive world of gingerbread delights, as judges Nacho Aguirre, Kardea Brown, and Breegan Jane decide which gingerbread teams wins. Season 1 episodes featured these duos: Linda Carney & Cheryl Filion, Sebastian Huyhua Quispe & Kristen Gardner, and Sarah Belote & Molli Dowd (November 15); Teena Ham & Cashe Clark, Megan Ware & Kate White, and Lindsay Deibler & Stacey Milner (November 22); Daniel Wilson & Marla Harvey, Christina Schubert & Ana Silva, and Leslie Poyourow & Randi Brecher (November 29); Beth Meyer & Mary Jo Dowling, Sarah Cummings & Alexis Ruddock, and Chelle Baldwin & Matt Maley (December 6); and Sireena Edwards & Natasha Teague, Jaclyn Fulmer & Jennifer Wilson, and Meg Salmon-Carson & Maryanne Garcia (December 13).

Season 2 of HOLIDAY BAKING CHAMPIONSHIP premiered on Monday, November 7, 2022 at 10pm ET/PT on Food Network. This season, host/judge Carla Hall is joined by judges Kalen Allen and Stephanie Boswell. In each one-hour episode, three teams of talented gingerbread artists face off, as they try to impress the judges while vying for the $10,000 prize. In the season opener, "Christmas 2999," Carla challenges three teams of bakers to decide what the holidays will look like in the future ... in gingerbread form! To make their displays as futuristic as possible, they'll make a dessert with a very space-age ingredient: freeze-dried berries. Judges Stephanie Boswell and Kalen Allen help Carla decide whose display is worth a modern $10,000 prize.

On Monday, December 19, 2022 at 10pm ET/PT, Food Network premiered "Christmas Ski Chalet," the Season 2 finale of HOLIDAY BAKING CHAMPIONSHIP. One of the best Christmas vacations is a trip to the ski slopes, and if you're going all out, you'll want to splurge on a ski chalet! Host Carla Hall challenges the baking teams to bring a huge holiday ski chalet to life while incorporating a baked element made with a fancy liqueur. Judges Stephanie Boswell and Kalen Allen help Carla determine which team will ski away with $10,000.
