Plot Synopsis

HITLER'S AMERICAN BATTLEFIELD is a two-part documentary series that explores the Outer Banks, where, within weeks of Pearl Harbor, Nazi U-boats attacked American ships within sight of the North Carolina beaches, leaving a trail of death and destruction. So many ships were attacked in the Cape Hatteras region that it became known as "Torpedo Junction." Recently, a team of experts turned this forgotten graveyard into a protected sanctuary in honor of the fallen.
