Plot Synopsis

Couples in long-term relationships sometimes find convenient excuses not to get married, and it takes a friend to push them toward that big day in their lives. In this case, a friend proposes that a couple tie the knot within one week, and "Hitched or Ditched" documents the days leading up to the wedding. All that wedding stress -- plans gone awry, in-law issues, testing relationships -- is compressed into a short time, and the emotions flow. Will the couple decide to tie the knot or will they just call the whole thing off? A different couple is featured each week.
