Plot Synopsis

Each year since 2008, HGTV gives away a Green Home to one lucky recipient, and in this annual special, HGTV presents a tour of that year's house at the beginning of the sweepstakes period. The 2012 HGTV Green Home, designed by Kemp Hall Studio and built by FrontPorch Builders in Chattahoochee Hills, Georgia, is a 3-bedroom, 2.5-bath modern family farmhouse with a design inspired by southeastern culture and regional architecture. Previously, HGTV Green Homes were built in: Hilton Head, SC (2008); Port St. Lucie, FL (2009); Plymouth, MA (2010); and Denver, CO (2011).
