Plot Synopsis

In this half-hour comedy series, an ensemble cast of popular comedians, bloggers and online personalities discuss a modern young woman's reaction to dating, fashion, friendship, pop culture, body issues, embarrassing moments and much more. Using a combination of a talking head format and woman-on-the-street segments, HEY GIRL covers topics like: post-breakup apartment makeovers; cologne; twerkshop; man-backs; getting dumped; being a stalker; a party in Times Square; the art of seduction; fashion advice; cringe-worthy, awkward stories; party etiquette; dancing mirror-toss challenge; love specialist; guilty pleasures; acting overly smart; confidence; and more. MTV first aired this program on Sunday, July 28, 2013, showing four back-to-back episodes from 9-11pm ET/PT, and then aired an encore episode each weekday (Mon-Thu) at 6pm ET/PT during the following week.
