Plot Synopsis

HEROES REBORN is a 13-episode event series that continues the saga of HEROES, reconnecting with the basic elements of ordinary people waking up to the fact that they have extraordinary abilities. This new story opens a year after a terrorist attack in Odessa, Texas left the city decimated. Blamed for the tragic event, those with extraordinary abilities are in hiding or on the run from those with nefarious motives. Two such vigilantes, Luke and Joanne Collins, are seeking to avenge a tragic loss. Noah Bennet (aka HRG), has gone off the grid, but conspiracy theorist Quentin Frady finds him and opens his eyes to the truth behind the Odessa tragedy. While in hiding, some are discovering their newfound skills. Awkward teen Tommy just wants to be normal and win the girl of his dreams, Emily, but normalcy is virtually impossible after learning of a new ability that terrifies him. Coming from a very sheltered upbringing, bold and ethereal teenager Malina has been told she is destined for greatness. In Tokyo, a quiet and unique young woman, Miko, is trying to track down her missing father while hiding an extraordinary secret that will make her a force to be reckoned with. Elsewhere, a different type of hero is emerging through former soldier Carlos. Meanwhile, Erica, the head of the highly successful tech conglomerate Renautas, has an agenda of her own. This series will be preceded by a new digital series that introduces the new characters and storylines, but some of the original characters will return. In addition to Jack Coleman, who's reprising his role as HRG, Jimmy Jean-Louis returns as The Haitian, Masi Oka will be back as Hiro Nakamura, Greg Grunberg plays Matt Parkman again, Sendhil Ramamurthy returns as Mohinder Suresh, and many more heroes of the past come back to cross paths with these new heroes -- for better or worse.

On Thursday, January 21, 2016 at 8pm ET/PT, NBC premiered the finale of HEROES REBORN. As the clock counts down to the end of the world, Tommy finds himself up against his biggest challenge yet as Erica takes drastic measures to see her plan succeed. Malina tries to fulfill her great-grandmother's prophecy to save the world with the help of Luke and Quentin. Meanwhile, Emily and Ren desperately search for Miko. Elsewhere, Carlos is faced with a life and death choice.
