HELL ON EARTH: THE VERONICA CASE is a three-part docuseries that chronicles the aftermath of the 1998 rape of 13-year-old Veronica Rodriguez Garcia -- and her mother's quest for justice. All three 45-minute episodes dropped on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 on Max:

"Why Don't They Believe Me?": In 1998, 13-year-old Veronica survives a violent assault, but she and her mother face backlash in their fight for justice.

"Can't Anyone Go Crazy?": In 2005, despite continued mistreatment from locals, Veronica attempts to move on from her assault, while Mari struggles with lingering guilt. Then, Pincelito's release from prison leads Mari to take matters into her own hands.

"#PardonMariCarmen": Mari faces legal consequences, sparking a nationwide debate. Later, supporters and activists use social media to push for a full pardon.
