Plot Synopsis

When Southern tycoon Boss Hoss Heartshe dies, his long-lost, feral, man-child son, Hurlan, inherits the town -- and becomes its mayor -- greatly upsetting the boy's two sisters, Hurshe and Hambrosia, who are intent on taking the town back from him. Hurlan is a 40-year-old man who, shortly after being born, was locked away by his father, and his identity was hidden until Boss Hoss died. Hurshe is Hurlan's manipulative sister, who will go to any lengths to get what she wants. Hurlan's other sister, Hambrosia, possesses psychic powers that she uses to help Hurshe accomplish terrible things, but, unlike Hurshe, she actually feels some remorse for her behavior. adult swim aired the six-part first season on consecutive nights at 12:30am ET, starting on the night of Sunday, November 6, 2011 (which is early Monday morning, November 7, 2011). Adult Swim debuted the second season opener of THE HEART, SHE HOLLER at 12:30am ET/PT late night Tuesday, September 10, 2013 (which is early Wednesday morning on September 11, 2013). Season 2 aired late night on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays for three weeks, with the season finale scheduled for September 27.
