Plot Synopsis

Simulcast live on multiple networks, including NBC, CMT, E! and G4, HEALING IN THE HEARTLAND: RELIEF BENEFIT CONCERT was a one-night only event that raised funds to help the people of Central Oklahoma and aid the recovery and rebuilding efforts following the tornadoes that devastated Moore, OK, on Monday, May 20, 2013. The concert, held nine days later at Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City, was organized and hosted by Blake Shelton, who was born and raised in Oklahoma and currently resides in the city of Tishomingo. Also appearing were Miranda Lambert, Reba, Vince Gill, Rascal Flatts, Luke Bryan, Ryan Tedder (OneRepublic), Usher, Darius Rucker and more. To help the people of this area recover and rebuild, the event raised funds for the United Way of Central Oklahoma May Tornadoes Relief Fund.
