Plot Synopsis

Held annually since 2021, The HBCU PIGSKIN SHOWDOWN is a post-season all-star college football game that showcases some of the best draft-eligible football players from Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). Scouts from most NFL teams attend. The inaugural game took place at David J. Robinson Memorial Stadium on the campus of Marion Military Institute (MMI) in Marion, Alabama on Sunday, December 19, 2021, and was broadcast live on HBCUGO.TV. For its second year, the event moved to its new television home: CNBC and Peacock.
