Plot Synopsis

This half-hour comedy follows the misadventures of a not-so-typical blended family that includes a human mother and her two daughters and a ghost father and his two ghost sons. Michelle Hathaway relocates to New Orleans to open a bakery with her daughters, Taylor and Frankie, and they inherit an extended family when they find their new home is already occupied by the ghosts of a jazz-musician father, Ray Preston, and his two sons, Miles and Louie, named after American jazz legends. After agreeing to live under one roof, they come to care about and rely on one another while driving each other crazy-- just like any normal family would. Though leery at first, especially when the boys scare Taylor and her gymnastics team at a sleepover, the Hathaways soon discover that ghosts can be fun and helpful -- so helpful that Michelle often forbids her girls from using ghost short cuts. On Saturday, June 28, 2014 at 8pm ET/PT, Nickelodeon broadcast the Season 2 premiere of THE HAUNTED HATHAWAYS, showing back-to-back new episodes. In the second season premiere, "Haunted Newbie," Taylor takes a new gymnastics teammate under her wing, when she has a tough time performing, Taylor goes to extreme measures to help her new friend. Miles and Frankie use each other to compete in a spelling bee. Then, in the night's second episode, "Haunted Revenge," Frankie gets pranked by her arch nemesis and turns to Louie to help her get revenge -- and to avoid getting punished. Meanwhile, Taylor is in over her head when a small gathering turns into a big party at the bakery after hours.
