DC Universe premiered the sophomore season of HARLEY QUINN on Friday, April 3, 2020. Harley Quinn has taken down the Joker and Gotham City is finally hers for the taking...whatever's left of it that is. Gotham has become a desolate wasteland, left in ruins, following the huge earthquake caused by the collapse of Joker's tower. Harley's celebration in this newly created chaos is cut short when Penguin, Bane, Mr. Freeze, The Riddler, and Two-Face join forces to restore order in the criminal underworld. In the season opener, "New Gotham," Gotham is declared no longer part of the United States, and the newly formed Injustice League tries to seize control of the city away from Harley. A new episode debuts each subsequent Friday.
For its third season, HARLEY QUINN moved to HBO Max, where it debuted on Thursday, July 28, 2022. Wrapping up their "Eat. Bang! Kill. Along with their ragtag crew -- King Shark, Clayface, Frank the Plant -- "Harlivy" strives to become the best version of themselves while also working towards Ivy's long desired plan of transforming Gotham into an Eden paradise. She hopes that a successful search for a mysterious new serial killer will help curry favor. Meanwhile, Ivy struggles to find her voice as the Legion of Doom's new CEO while realizing she and Harley will not longer be fighting on the same side. Also, King Shark learns he'll be a dad.
