Plot Synopsis

HAPPYLAND is a teen dramedy that centers on cynical teenager Lucy Velez, who works as a greeter at Happyland Theme Park, the same park where her single mother, Elena, has played a fairytale princess, Princess Adriana, for 15 years. Having grown up in a world of manufactured happiness her whole life, Lucy wants to get out and experience something real. When Ian Chandler, the new park owner's son, arrives and sweeps her off her feet, Lucy is left wondering if fairy tale endings do exist after all. But she soon finds that Harper Munroe, a resident of the park, goes after Ian despite the fact that she has a boyfriend. Meanwhile, there are more changes at the park when Theodore Chandler, the Armani-clad and well-mannered older son of the new owner, starts working as its creative director. Lucy also hangs out with Will, a character performer at the park.

On Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at 11pm ET/PT, MTV debuted the season finale of HAPPYLAND. In the season ender, "Your Happyland Family," a natural disaster is a hindrance to the festivities during the Fourth of July parade in Happyland, and people are forced to go underground.
