Plot Synopsis

When his grandmother comes to visit, Linus must decide whether or not to dispose of his most cherished possession. In an effort to help Linus give up his childhood security blanket, Lucy attempts her amateur psychiatric skills while Snoopy employs the age old drag-and-run method. Despite all attempts from the gang, Linus eventually learns that security is a valuable quality in life and everyone is entitled to their own version of a security blanket. FOX aired the U.S. premiere of this special at 8:30pm ET/PT on Thanksgiving Day 2011, which was Thursday, November 24, 2011.
