Plot Synopsis

Hosts Kevin Pereira and Brooke Van Poppelen put life hacks to the test, demonstrating step by step how to incorporate shortcuts and cheats, while pinpointing which hacks really save time or money and which ones just don't live up to the hype. From parenting and the workday to vacations and parties, each half-hour episode of HACK MY LIFE covers at least three shortcuts, including: removing pet hair; grilling without charcoal; opening a wine bottle without a bottle opener; combating spicy foods; peeling potatoes; camping; keeping the mirror from fogging up after a shower; and much more. Viewers are invited to share their own hacks via hackmylifetrutv.tumblr.com, with each week's best hack chosen to be featured on the show. truTV premiered the second season of HACK MY LIFE on Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at 9pm ET/PT. Brooke and Kevin are back in action for Season 2 as they explore hacking in even more unique ways. In the season opener, "Hackers Back in Action," they cook lasagna in a dishwasher and go back in time to get discover some of the original hacks from history. Plus, they take hacking to new heights with a real-life Hack Master who teaches them how to hack breakfast using power tools. Season 3 of HACK MY LIFE premiered on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 from 10-11pm ET/PT, as truTV debuted back-to-back new episodes. In the new season, hosts Kevin Pereira and Brooke Van Poppelen returning with all new, eye popping shortcuts guaranteed to save today's busy adults a lot of time, effort and money. In the season opener (10pm), "Good Guys Finish First," Kevin and Brooke hack their way through the worst obstacles an airport has to offer and viewers share their DIY solutions for whipping up cream. Plus, Brooke and Kevin find out how low prices can go if you're a "good guy." Then, in the night's second new episode (10:30pm), "Pool Party of One," Skip a trip to the spa with a facial hack you can find in any schoolkid's book bag and learn how to treat yourself like it's your birthday, any day of the year. Plus, Brooke and Kevin go for a swim, in a garbage bag. A new season of HACK MY LIFE premiered on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at 10pm ET/PT on truTV. In the season opener, "Addicted to Hacks," Kevin and Brooke are having dinner in a hot tub. And it's a blast from the past as Kevin re-hacks a self-tanner. Plus, in the new Saved by the Hacks, the teens have let the hacks take over. Season 4 of HACK MY LIFE premiered on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at 10:30pm ET/PT on truTV. In the season opener, "The Hack's Out of the Bag," Kevin and Brooke battle for the best kitten hacks and test user-submitted hacks to bring dead batteries to life. Plus, Brooke hacks a pizza in a waffle iron. Finally, discovery how the cheeseburger became a Hack from History.

On Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at 10:30pm ET/PT, truTV premiered the Season 4 finale of HACK MY LIFE. In the season ender, "Reverse Hackoloyg," Brooke hacks an ex's pair of jeans into a drink coaster, Kevin learns how to get a dent out of a car, and Kevin and Brooke learn at-home exercise hacks from Good Housekeeping. Plus, Kevin judges a granny vs. granny hack battle.
