GUITAR CENTER SESSIONS captures exclusive live performances and interviews from noteworthy and influential artists in hi-definition and 5.1 surround sound at Guitar Center's location on Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood. In addition to musical performances, each one-hour episode features intimate interviews conducted by Nic Harcourt, offering rare insights into the careers of these icons and the inspirations behind their music. Season 7 of GUITAR CENTER SESSIONS premiered on Friday, November 1, 2013 at 9pm ET/10pm PT on DirecTV's Audience Network, with Korn in the season opener. Just a few month earlier, in August 2013, AXS TV started showing encore performances on Mondays at 9pm ET/6pm PT. GUITAR CENTER SESSIONS returned for its ninth season on Sunday, May 4, 2014 at 8pm ET/PT on DirecTV's Audience Channel. Season 9 kicked off with six episodes filmed live in Austin, TX during SXSW on a rooftop perched high above the crowds with Austin's skyline as a backdrop, starting with Soundgarden in the season opener. The Season 9 schedule included: Soundgarden, Damon Albarn, Phantogram, The Wild Feathers, Snoop Dogg, The 1975, 311 LP, Dawes, Alice in Chains, CHVRCHES, Cage the Elephant. On Friday, May 29, 2015 at 9pm ET/PT, DirecTV's Audience Channel premiered the tenth season of GUITAR CENTER SESSIONS, with influential music tastemaker Nic Harcourt returning as host for nine more episodes of this live performance and interview series. Artists starring in Season 10 include The Killers' Brandon Flowers in the season opener (May 29); rock bands Lifehouse, The Offspring and Silversun Pickups; country icon Dwight Yoakam; triple-threat singer, songwriter and actor Nick Jonas; indie darlings Best Coast and Hanni El Khatib; and multi-Grammy winning singer-songwriter Jason Mraz.

Season 11 of GUITAR CENTER SESSIONS premiered on Friday, November 13, 2015 at 9pm ET/PT on DirecTV's Audience Channel. In the 10-episode new season, Harcourt welcomes these artist: James Taylor in the season opener (Nov. 13); Metric; The White Buffalo; Matisyahu; Sean Kingston; Merle Haggard; Chicago; Jason Derulo; Jerrod Niemann; St. Lucia. Season 11, which continues through the end of January 2016 also sees the series hit 100 episodes.
