Plot Synopsis
The GRAMMY MUSEUM SERIES is a one-hour concert/interview series, with iconic musicians taking questions from audiences while performing their hit songs as part of the GRAMMY Museum's "An Evening With," "The Drop" and "Live from" music series, which all take place at the Museum's Clive Davis Theater at L.A. Live. Leading these discussions are: GRAMMY Foundation and MusiCares Vice President Scott Goldman; and GRAMMY Museum Executive Director Bob Santelli. The first episode of this series was immediately preceded by a 30-minute special, "GRAMMY Museum: Inspiring Music, Inspiring History," which explores the Museum's legacy and mission. The six-part first season includes performances from: hit-makers Foreigner (airing July 7 on AXS TV); pop mastermind Richard Marx (July 14); blues legend Taj Mahal (July 28); New Wave pioneers Berlin (August 4); former LIVE frontman Ed Kowalczyk (August 11); and '70s super-group Bad Company (August 18). Each episode is comprised of the best 60 minutes of the original concerts, many of which were previously broadcast live on AXS TV as part of the cable channel's concert series: Foreigner (date of concert: October 30, 2012); Richard Marx (May 8, 2013); Bad Company (June 11, 2013); Taj Mahal (October 9, 2013); Berlin (September 17, 2013); and Ed Kowalczyk (December 9, 2013).
