Plot Synopsis

Honest cop Tony Jr. gets advice from his unscrupulous father, retired NYPD officer Tony Sr., about everything from his job to his love life. Tony Sr. is a lovable, but not exactly honorable, former NYPD officer who never followed the rules. He lives with his son, a brilliant and straight-laced NYPD detective who makes a point of always following the rules while solving Brooklyn's toughest cases. The series opens with a man found murdered in the park, and only two people in the world could have done it: TJ or his father. A stunning supermodel is infatuated with Big Tony -- much to TJ's befuddlement. Meanwhile, a killer in disguise has the police hopping for clues. After escaping from prison, Big Tony's old buddy moves in -- disguised as a woman. Meanwhile, TJ suspects the escapee of murder. Netflix released the 10-episode first season of THE GOOD COP on Friday, September 21, 2018 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT.
