Plot Synopsis

GONE is a one-hour series that features twisted true stories of individuals who go missing leaving a trail of secrets in their wake and of the frantic loved ones left behind who are often not who they seem. Each 60-minute episode focuses on a different case, including the series opener, "Field of Broken Dreams," which centers on 17-yr-old Chris Daigle, who vanishes shortly after leaving Hightower High School for the day in Missouri City, TX. Family members and law officials spend years dissecting the weeks and months leading up to the day the baseball all-star disappears.

On Monday, August 28, 2017 at 9pm ET/PT, Investigation Discovery premiered the season finale of GONE. In the season ender, "In a Dark Place," when Dena Raley-McCluskey vanishes from Modesto, CA, investigators focus on her ex-boyfriend with whom she had a known tumultuous relationship. Scant clues stump the police for years until an unexpected break in the case uncovers the shocking truth.
