Plot Synopsis

When Sergeant James Hayes is called to Yoorana cemetery in the middle of the night, he makes a discovery that turns his world upside down -- six local residents who inexplicably returned from the dead in peak physical form but have no memory of their identities. Who are they and what has happened to them? After revisiting the cemetery, James confirms that the group have all risen from the dead and he confronts a mysterious and dangerous John Doe. Meanwhile Kate gets an unexpected surprise when she goes back home. GLITCH had its U.S. premiere on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT when Netflix released the entire first season.

Season 2 of GLITCH premiered in the United States on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, as Netflix released the entire six-episode second season. In the new season, the truth about Elishia and her work come to light, a new threat emerges, and the Risen learn more about their original fates. Season 2 opens with John learning about his criminal past, Kate bonding with a mysterious stranger, and James digging for the truth about Elishia and her research. As the Risen make a troubling discovery about the boundary, Charlie suffers disturbing flashbacks, Heysen experiments on John, and Phil preys on Beau. Then, James takes Chris into his confidence. Phil presses his dark agenda. Elishia strikes a desperate deal with Heysen, then makes a cryptic revelation.
