Plot Synopsis

GIRLS INCARCERATED is a documentary series that goes behind the scenes of prisons, where teenage girls struggle to overcome their troubled pasts and find hope for the future. Season 1 focused on at Madison Juvenile Correctional Facility in Indiana, where teenage life is full of drama -- including fights, friendships and dating -- but behind bars the stakes are so much higher. Brianna likes being a "bad girl" but knows she needs to change. Newcomer Paige rubs feisty Heidi the wrong way. Chrissy and Aubrey await their release But trouble finds Aubrey on the outside. Najwa finishes her time but can't go home without a guardian. The girls say goodbye to a beloved counselor. Meanwhile, Brianna and her friends feud with Faith, an outsider. Paige lands in time out, disappointing her dad. Back with her family, Chrissy gets a fresh start. Netflix released the entire eight-episode series on March 2, 2018 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT.
