Plot Synopsis

When her daughter, Pia, is abducted, Norwegian diplomat Alex travels to the Middle East, banking on old friends -- and a deep secret -- to help free her. While on vacation in Sinai, Egypt, Pia and her friends are abducted by ISIS. In exchange for their release, the terrorist group issues a hefty demand. In Jerusalem, Alex reaches out to old friends Arik and Layla for help. Back in Oslo, Pia's father, Karl, is unexpectedly contacted by ISIS. Arik shares details with Alex of an underway secret operation to rescue the hostages. Karl digs into Abu Salim's file ahead of their first meeting.
