Plot Synopsis

GARAGE SQUAD is a reality series that follows host Bruno Massel and his co-host -- Lauren Bohlander in Season 1 and Heather Storm in Seasons 2-43 -- along with lead mechanic Joe Zolper, and a team of automotive experts, who take over a car owner's garage and help people whose automotive projects have come to a dead end. These well-meaning owners have run out of the necessary time, money or mechanical know-how to jump start their cars back to life, and the GARAGE SQUAD team saves these amazing cars -- as well as family relationships, which have been stressed by an old clunker taking up space in the garage. In each 60-minute episode, the crew takes on a different challenge including: two iconic 1960s Fords -- Chris' 1963 Galaxie and his son's 1966 Mustang -- that have sat in the garage of the Flood Family for decades; Ron's 1967 Plymouth Barracuda, which has sat in his barn, up on blocks, for two years, as he recovers from heart surgery; Jason's Datsun 240Z, one of the very first off the Japanese assembly line destined for America, which Jason wants to transform into a replica 432; Brian's 1968 Chevelle Malibu, which lies in pieces in his garage, torn down to the chassis, after being used for parts; John's 1966 Ford pickup, which has a huge exhaust problem and a suspension held together with bailing wire; Mike's 1977 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am, which needs a complete interior rebuild, new brakes and ignition, and a ton of engine work; Danielle's 1968 Chevy Camaro 327 convertible, which needs its whole motor to come out, an overhaul of the wiring system, and serious work on the suspension, exhaust, and radiator; Donna's 1956 Cadillac Coupe De Ville, which has been stashed away in a barn, because she and her husband are having trouble finding the parts and the time; Brian's classic Triumph, which has troubling mechanical issues that emerged when he found a free moment to fire it up; and many more people who don't have the time, money or expertise to fix up their classic cars.
