Plot Synopsis

GARAGE DREAMS is a half-hour series that reveals the personal stories that people have about a special car, bike or truck, providing a window into the subculture of these aficionados. The series travels from the gritty streets of South Central Los Angeles to the emerging bike building collectives in Asia and then the progressive scene around Melbourne, the auto culture capital of Australia, On Saturday, January 28, 2017 from 8-9pm ET/PT, Velocity aired the U.S. premiere of GARAGE DREAMS, showing back-to-back new episodes. In the series opener (8pm), "Unfinished and to the Center of the Earth," Cory and his father spend endless weekends in the garage building their unfinished dream. And Greg's '67 XR Falcon is right on target. Then, in the second episode (8:30pm), "American Dream," JD realizes the American dream is sitting in his garage, and Eric has the opposite of buyer's remorse.

MotorTrend Network debuted the second season of GARAGE DREAMS on Saturday, April 9, 2022 from 10-11pm ET/PT, airing back-to-back episode. In the season opener, "Hollywood Riviera, eXBee and Alamo City" (10pm), Mark's passion for restoring pieces of history flows in his 1964 Buick Riviera; Howard's 1974 Ford Falcon XB Coupe elicits visions of Mad Max and thoughts of his father, while Roger's garage is full of memories. Then, in the night's second episode, "Professor Pati, Rising From the Ashes and Beautiful Candy" (10:30pm), Pati's career in automotive education shirks convention, and she shows her skills in a 1961 Corvette; Mark lost everything in a garage fire, but his passion returns with a 1936 three-window Ford.
