What was once considered science fiction is more of a reality than most know, because the technologies being developed in labs and universities have already planted the seeds of radical change to the human condition. Each 60-minute episode focuses on a different topic, including: "Robot Revolution," which highlights cutting-edge experiments that have transformed machines into creatures with consciousness; "I Know What You're Thinking," which explores how telepathy helmets scan hidden memories in ways that may put an end to privacy forever; "Cheating Time," which chronicles how advances in medical technology are making old age a manageable chronic condition; "Replacing God," which highlights how scientists manipulate the building blocks of DNA to create new species; "Galactic Pioneers," which documents how recent advances in propulsion technology, warp drive, and solar energy are providing a new age of discovery; and "How to Be a Superhuman," which reveals how advancements in genetic engineering and neuroscience may free humans from physical limitations. Science Channel aired a sneak-peek episode of this series on Saturday, November 16, 2013 at 11pm ET/PT, followed by the official series premiere on Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at 10pm ET/PT.
