Plot Synopsis

This series highlights the most compelling and dramatic true-life fugitive captures in recent history, as told from the perspective of both the hunter and the hunted. Combining gritty reconstructions with archival footage and a narrative that's recreated from real testimony and exclusive taped interviews with law enforcement officials, each episode tells the tale of one fugitive's flight. In the first episode, Ralph 'Bucky' Philips is a career criminal who escapes prison, setting off a five-month manhunt in 2006, which turns out to be New York's most expensive manhunt to date.
