Season 2 of FROM THE BOTTOM UP premiered on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at 10pm ET/PT on Centric, just hours after an encore presentation of the entire first season from 12:55-3:30pm. In the season opener, "New Beginnings," Christine hosts new radio show in Detroit. All is well on the home front for Sara and Tony but childhood struggles continue to haunt her. Sparks fly when a new woman brings Stacii Jae and Kim together. In the season's second episode, two new women are introduced to the group: Maia Campbell and Chanita Foster. Best known for her role in the 1994 comedy-drama series SOUTH CENTRAL, Maia found herself at a low point in 2010 when she was arrested for theft and sent to a mental health facility. Now the actress is seeking to make amends with her daughter and work through her mental health issues. The story of Chanita, wife of NFL superstar George Foster, will continue to shine a light on the importance of mental health awareness. Chanita is also a mother and an entrepreneur with a mission to help others, as her The Beyond The Game Foundation donates supplies to more than 300 young women in Africa.
