Plot Synopsis

Josh Capon and Tony Luke Jr. travel across the United States, judging culinary competitions where local amateur food innovators compete head-to-head using unexpected ingredients to create one-of-a-kind dishes. From a triple-decker pastrami donut sandwich to fried PB&J fish sticks and from Gyro egg rolls to a cheesecake burger, the cheftestants cook up crazy and outrageous Frankenfood creations as they vie for the $10,000 cash prize and a spot for their creation on the menu of an iconic local eatery. In each 30-minute episode of FRANKENFOOD, Josh and Tony travel to a different city, including: New York City, where contestants compete for a spot on the menu at a Times Square staple, Lillie's; Chicago, where Reggie's will add the winning creation to its menu; and other American cities, like Milwaukee, Philadelphia, and more.

Season 1 of FRANKENFOOD concluded on Sunday, August 3, 2014 at 10pm ET/PT, as Spike aired back-to-back new episodes. In the night's first episode, competitors make cactus covered pancakes, turtle tacos and Mardi Gras on a stick in Austin, Texas. Then, in the night's second new episode, cheftestants in Dallas, Texas, create a twist on PB&J, make a dish without spirit and play a candy coated game.
