Plot Synopsis

After two hapless TV technicians stumble upon a murder scene, every step they take to avoid becoming suspects lands them in deeper trouble. The story opens with brothers-in-law Salvo and Valentino showing up at a house call and finding a dead body awaiting them, causing them to try to erase all evidence of their presence. After an overheard voice message leads to heartache for Salvo, he and Valentino flee to a class reunion, where Valentino encounters an old flame. Valentino fears that the cops aren't the only ones looking for Gambino's killer. The duo's quest to get an incriminating ticket expunged proves costly. All six episodes of Season 1 of FRAMED: A SICILIAN MURDER MYSTERY dropped on Thursday, January 27, 2022 on Netflix.

The sophomore season of FRAMED: A SICILIAN MURDER MYSTERY premiered on Thursday, March 2, 2023 on Netflix, as the streaming service released all six episodes of the new season. Season 2 starts where the first season ended: Salvo and Valentino are in danger of life. These two "heroes" find themselves, again, stuck and trapped in a series of events from which it is difficult to extricate themselves without hurting the feelings of the people they love. To complicate things, an endless sequence of twists and turns and novelties including a double homicide behind which a mysterious man is hiding, the introduction of foreign criminals on the scene, the complex investigations into the "Gambino murder case" that is yet to be solved, the increasingly stormy relationship between Salvo, Valentino and their respective partners.
