Plot Synopsis

Based on the 1994 movie of the same name, with a pilot script from Executive Producers Mindy Kaling and Matt Warburton, FOUR WEDDINGS AND A FUNERAL opens with Maya receiving a wedding invitation from Ainsley, her college schoolmate now living in London. Maya, the young communications director for a New York senatorial campaign, leaves her professional and personal life behind, in favor of traveling to England and reconnecting with her old college friends, Craig and Duffy, while finding herself thrust into their personal crises after a bombshell at the altar throws their lives into turmoil. Relationships are forged and broken, political scandals exposed, London social life lampooned, love affairs ignited and doused, and of course there are four weddings...and a funeral. On Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, Hulu released the first two episodes of this series, followed by two more episodes later in the day. Subsequent episodes of the 10-episode season are released each following Wednesday.

On Thursday, September 11, 2019 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, Hulu released "New Jersey," the season finale of FOUR WEDDINGS AND A FUNERAL. A year after Maya and Ainsley's blowup, the fractured friend group hopes that a wedding may be the perfect occasion for a reunion.
