Plot Synopsis

After the death of the classmate they loved, Mitsuko and Taeko process their grief differently. But nothing's as it seems when charismatic conman Shin and an aspiring film crew delve into the lives of these two emotionally scarred women. Taeko tells the guys about her wilder days and the dangers of Murata, inspiring a new film idea. Meanwhile Mitsuko falls victim to his charm. On Thursday, April 30, 2020 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, Netflix released the entire seven-episode first season of THE FOREST OF LOVE: DEEP CUT, which is a story inspired by actual events.
