Plot Synopsis

Narrated by Common, FOR BALL AND COUNTRY is a six-episode documentary series that follows the greatest basketball players in America as they set aside their on-court rivalries and form a star-studded team to represent their country in the 2021 Summer Olympic Games. In addition to an all-access look at the team's training camp in Las Vegas, the series takes a look back into USA Basketball video vault with never-before-seen footage of this storied program. From the iconic Dream Team to the Redeem Team to today, this documentary provides a unique look into some of the greatest basketball teams ever assembled. Episodes 1 and 2 will premiere on Monday, July 19, with Episodes 3 and 4 streaming on Tuesday, July 20 and episodes 5 and 6 streaming on Wednesday, July 21 ahead of the Tokyo Olympics, which begin Friday, July 23.
