Plot Synopsis

FOLLOW THE RULES is a half-hour reality series that centers around the Grammy-nominated rapper turned actor, Ja Rule, and the hectic household that he and his wife Aisha are trying to keep under control. The couple's oldest daughter, Brittney, who is a college sophomore, is always pushing their boundaries. And with their two sons, Jeffery Jr. and Jordan, as well as Ja's mother and mother-in-law living under one roof, the house that Rule built is anything but quiet. The series opens with Brittney bringing home a pretend boyfriend to prove she is no longer a child; meanwhile, Grandma Debra tries to teach Grandma Jean how to drive.

On Monday, December 6, 2015 from 10-11pm ET/PT, MTV premiered the season finale of FOLLOW THE RULES, showing back-to-back new episodes immediately following a six-hour marathon (4:15-10pm) of encore episodes. In the night's first episode (10pm), "Mo' Money Mo' Problems," Ja wants his kids tor learn the value of a dollar, so he installs an ATM; a hot yoga instructor inspires the grannies. Then, in the finale (10:30pm), "It's All Downhill from Here," Aisha and Ja's anniversary trip is hijacked by their family, as Jeff, Jordy, Brittney and the grannies try to restore the romance.
