FIRST-TIME BUYER'S CLUB is a half-hour reality series that follows teacher-turned-realtor Amina Stevens, who educates and inspires clients who are intimidated by the overwhelming housing market -- because they are becoming a homeowner for the very first time. By providing her expertise and support, Amina is a trusted partner and confidante as she guides her clients through every stage of the home-buying journey. Each and every sale also furthers Amina's ultimate mission and passion with her work -- the building of wealth and the reduction of housing disparity in the Black community. By investigating each client's unique situation, Amina takes pride in helping her clients break through the myths about home ownership so they can one day realize their dreams. Filmed across the Tampa Bay area, each episode follows Amina as she meets and works with a new client, navigating the many pros and cons of various homes and locales. Season 2 of FIRST-TIME BUYER'S CLUB debuted on Friday, September 13, 2024 on OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network with back-to-back episodes from 8-9pm ET/PT. Filmed across the Tampa Bay area, each episode follows Amina as she creates a custom plan for new clients, navigating the many pros and cons of various homes and locales. Amina goes out of her way to educate and inspire clients who may be intimidated by the overwhelming housing market. By investigating each client's unique situation, Amina takes pride in helping her clients break through the myths about home ownership so they can one day realize their dreams. In the season opener, viewers meet Dwayne and Lynnise, a military family who's lived in Guam for the last three years and have only a few days in Tampa to find a home. The next episode (8:30pm): features Kashel and Brent, a young couple who are financially ready and on the hunt for their perfect home in a real estate bubble. But with a wish list that includes a two-car garage and a nice backyard, finding the right location at the right price proves to be a challenge for Amina. In other episodes throughout the season, Angela, a single mother, is featured who is in search of a multi-generational home she can share with her adult son, and Tina, a medical professional who's looking to buy a home on her own for the first time at age 40.

After a five-week break, FIRST-TIME BUYER'S CLUB returned with new episodes on Saturday, November 2, 2024 at 9pm ET/PT on OWN: Opran Winfrey Network. In the mid-season premiere, "Michonae & Marquez," Amina helps a financially ready young couple on the hunt for their perfect home in an ever-rising housing market. With a wish list that includes a two-car garage and a nice backyard, finding the right location at the right price will be a challenge.
