Plot Synopsis

THE FIRST 48: KILLER CONFESSIONS features updates on cases from THE FIRST 48, including all-new interviews with the detectives involved with the case. On Monday, June 15, 2015 from 8pm-Midnight ET/PT, A&E premiered four back-to-back episodes, but had no other episodes on its schedule at that time. The updated stories for the night of the series premiere include:

Dangerous Attraction/Candy Lady: In Dallas, a man is shot dead in his sleep, but when the homicide team learns the suspect could be his girlfriend they uncover a murderous past. Then, in Memphis, TN, Sergeants Bill Ashton and Caroline Mason hunt for the killer of a beloved neighborhood "Candy Lady", shot through her closed front door. From the projects of the city to the trailer parks of the countryside, they leave no stone unturned in their search for the elusive killer.

Kiss of Death: In Rochester, a man from a neighboring suburb is found shot to death on a city street. The Major Crimes Unit tries to piece together the last hours of the victim's life to discover what may have brought him there, and find that his wife may hold the key to solving the murder.

Murder in Treme: In New Orleans, when a woman is slashed to death, the investigation into her murder leads Detectives Chuck Ward and Rob Barrere to a house of horrors, and they discover the killer may be someone they least expected.

Burning Rage/Fallen Soldier: Birmingham Detective Warren Cotton investigates the murder of three family members, including a 12-year-old girl, who were stabbed to death in their home and then burned. In Miami, Detective Ricardo John and his team are working the shooting of a young man who has been a witness in several previous homicide investigations.
