Plot Synopsis

Created and written by series star Amy Huberman, FINDING JOY is a comedy series that follows a single woman, Joy Morris, after a painful breakup, who looks for happiness in all the wrong places while struggling with life, her friends and her world. The series opens with routine-loving Joy having a tough time after a messy breakup with her live-in boyfriend, Aidan. Then an opportunity at work shakes up her life even more when she replaces the news company's star vlogger, the Happiness Hunter. FINDING JOY had its U.S. premiere on Monday, December 3, 2018 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT on Acorn TV.

The second season of FINDING JOY had its U.S. premiere on Monday, January 11, 2021 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, as Acorn TV released the entire six-episode new season. Encouraged by her stint as an internet sensation, thirtysomething lifestyle vlogger Joy establishes her own video channel and continues to try new things outside of her comfort zone to help achieve happiness and fulfillment. She hopes to make it big as an online influencer, but attracting subscribers and sponsors is harder than it seems. Based out of a slightly-too-small co-working space with just four desks, Joy's new team is completed by Stan back on camera, and new-hire Emer on everything else.
