Plot Synopsis

Based on the "Finding the Funny" podcast, FINDING FUNNY is a half-hour series that follows standup comics and identical twins Randy and Jason Sklar on their nationwide comedy tour. In each 30-minute episode, the Sklar brothers arrive in a different city, but their mission is always the same: to come up with locally-sourced material for their set. To do so, the Sklar brothers have to find out what's funny and fascinating about each place they visit, and then start all of their sets with 5 to 10 minutes of material they create that weekend based on their experiences within each city. On Sunday, June 12, 2016 at 11pm ET/PT, Travel Channel premiered the pilot episode of FINDING FUNNY, but the cable channel had no other episodes on its schedule at that time. In the pilot, the Sklar brothers go local in Raleigh, NC.
