Plot Synopsis

Sellers haggle over the selling price of their collectibles with each of four expert buyers -- one-on-one in any order they choose. But there's a catch -- once they pass on an offer, there is no turning back. The offer is off the table for good and they must head to the next buyer they choose, who hopefully will bid at least as high as the previous one. Plus, the buyers don't know if they are the first to meet with the seller or the last. From historical artifacts to instruments owned by rock and roll legends, original artwork to motion picture props, sellers on this program try to get the best price for: a 1928 baseball signed by Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig; three hoods from Nascar vehicles autographed by the drivers; a jewel-encrusted gold sword handle from Bali; a 250-year-old neurosurgery kit; Kurt Cobain's inscripted guitar; a lock of Elvis's hair; a car that walks on water; rare Star Wars swag; Blues Brothers bling; a Marilyn Monroe dress worth half a million dollars; a rare African insect collection; a Tiffany lamp; early photos by Ansel Adams; a prohibition roulette wheel; a superhero suit worth $250K; a collection of love letters that fell out of the sky; a collection of antique liquor; and many more valuable antiques and rare collectibles. The buyers are: Jacob Chait, the director of the natural history department and head of acquisitions at I.M. Chait Gallery/Auctioneers; Patrick Painter, who began his career with an apprenticeship under legendary art dealer, Leo Castelli; Billy Roland, who began his career in the antiques industry at the age of 16 and eventually opened his own gallery in Greenwich Village; and Jordan Tabach-Bank, a third generation owner of an upscale pawn shop in Beverly Hills.
