Plot Synopsis

Based on Jeff Keating and Jim Roberts' podcast, "Fight Night," FIGHT NIGHT: THE MILLION DOLLAR HEIST is an eight-part drama series that follows the infamous story of how an armed robbery on the night of Muhammad Ali's historic 1970 comeback fight changed not only one man's life but ultimately transformed Atlanta into the "Black Mecca." When a hustler named Chicken Man hosts an afterparty to celebrate the fight with a guest list of the country's wealthiest, the night ends with the most brazen criminal underworld heist in Atlanta's history. Suspected of masterminding the crime, Chicken Man is hellbent on clearing his name but must convince his old adversary, JD Hudson, one of the first Black detectives in the city's desegregated police force, who is tasked with bringing those responsible to justice. FIGHT NIGHT: THE MILLION DOLLAR HEIST premiered on Thursday, September 5, 2024 on Peacock, which released the first three episodes. A new installment dropped weekly through October 10. "Round Two: Fight Night" (Thursday, September 5, 2024): As Chicken Man hustles to level up with the Black Mafia, local robbers find holes in his plans.

"Round Three: Black Vegas" (Thursday, September 5, 2024): The city celebrates Ali's big win, but Chicken Man's fight night party turns into a nightmare.

"Round Four: Real Policework" (Thursday, September 12, 2024): A desperate Chicken Man sets out to prove his innocence as the Black Mafia doubles down on revenge.

"Round Five: Ambition Ain't Free" (Thursday, September 19, 2024): On the run, Chicken Man forms an unlikely partnership as fight night fallout hits close to home.

"Round Six: Community Men" (Thursday, September 26, 2024): The manhunt for Chicken Man ramps up as he becomes front-page news; Detective Hudson goes rogue.

"Round Seven: Jekyll Island" (Thursday, October 3, 2024): Hudson and Chicken Man track the robbers to the Georgia coast; Vivian forges an unlikely alliance.

"Round Eight: Testify" (Thursday, October 10, 2024): Chicken Man and Hudson team up for one last big hustle, confronting the robbery mastermind.
