Plot Synopsis

FATAL AFFAIRS is a one-hour crime documentary series that chronicles stories of love triangles turned into mysterious whodunits when one of the three ends up dead. From workplace flings, secrets between schoolteachers, and even Tinder-trysts, in this risky game of illicit love and secret sex, one lover ends up paying the ultimate price. Psychologist Dr. Michelle Callahan serves as a relationship expert through each story, leading viewers through each fatal affair. The series opener, "Lessons in Lust," follows the case of two schoolteachers whose passionate affair quickly devolves from romance to betrayal and violence. After meeting in the halls of the school they both work at, teachers Lyntell Washington and Robert Marks start up a steamy affair -- complete with secret trysts around the school and whispered promises of a bright future together. But when it is revealed that one of them is married, lust quickly turns to rage and then a tragic act that devastates the community.
